Designed in a vintage boat tour style, this sticker honors the Truscott fantail launches once built in St. Joseph, Michigan, and seen on lakes and rivers across America at the turn of the 20th century. The Lindy Lou, crafted from a mold of an original Truscott design, was finished by museum staff and volunteers in 2011 — complete with a hand-built mahogany and cherry wood interior and a graceful canvas top.
Named in honor of longtime museum supporter Linda Lou Winkel, this 30-foot, 6-horsepower electric launch carries passengers along the Black River, offering a peaceful voyage through South Haven’s history — from city to countryside, past to present.
